This notice explains how 68 Labs ("we", "us") processes personal information collected through this website, 68labs.co.za, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), your area of interest and your message. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why we collect it
We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, arrange demonstrations and discuss our services with you. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Legal basis
We process your information with your consent, given when you submit the form, and to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is stored with our hosting and database service providers, who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. Some of these providers may store information outside South Africa, in which case we rely on the protections permitted by section 72 of POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access to stored enquiries.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its processing or withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@68labs.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
Verification services
This notice covers this website only. Personal information processed through 68 Labs verification services for our clients is governed by the agreements with those clients and the notices they provide to their customers.
